The CEPU has been advised that Telstra intended to perform an upgrade to the connect dispatch system this week end and have requested employees to log on in their own time to perform this upgrade.

CEPU members are therefore directed not to log on in their own time during the long week end because that would be unpaid overtime.

Members are also reminded that even without being covered by notified protected industrial action that they are under no obligation to perform this function as unpaid overtime, outside of their normal log on requirements for Tuesday morning.
