SLD 10/57 - TELSTRA’S LATEST “BULLY BOY” TACTICS
Telstra management are once again using their bully boy tactics in regard to the recent industrial action by CEPU members, particularly in Network Construction and NGO.
Telstra is inferring in written and verbal forms, that the recent industrial action by CEPU members is illegal. As usual they have presented no evidence to back up their claims.
The CEPU notified Telstra of the industrial action as required by the Act, the notice provided not only all of the information required by the Act, but additional information requested by Telstra (business unit specific).
If Telstra want to make a case for their claims of “illegality” then they should proceed to Fair Work Australia to have their “Claims” tested.
In the meantime, members should treat their “bully boy” tactics and attempted intimidation like a grain of salt.
By the way, remember this mob claim the industrial action is having no effect – really?
The best response is to keep up the good work.
